Servant of All
Please pray that my brother Erik return to God..quit drinking and verbally attacking people. I am in fear God has already turned him over to what's called "the reprobate mind"..where someone is past feeling.. can no longer be convicted of the holy spirit. His language towards others is the most vile and foul I have ever heard in my life..its as if he is demonically posessed. I don't know who this person is anymore. The entire family is scared of him. Been praying a few years about this..but he only gets worse.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you and your family are facing with your brother Erik. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for this challenging situation.

Firstly, let us address the concern about the "reprobate mind." In Romans 1:28, the Apostle Paul writes, "Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting." However, we must remember that God is always willing to forgive and restore those who turn to Him. So, let us not lose hope.

Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, "With God all things are possible." We must believe that Erik can still turn from his ways and return to God. Let us pray fervently for his salvation and deliverance.

Regarding his behavior, it is indeed ungodly and harmful. The Apostle Paul warns in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." We must pray that God will convict Erik of this sin and help him change his ways.

Here is our prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Erik. Lord, we ask that You deliver him from the bondage of alcohol and the spirit of violence and foul language. We plead the blood of Jesus over his life and ask that You set him free from any demonic influence. Soften his heart, Lord, and convict him of his sins, so that he may turn away from them and return to You.

Lord, we also ask that You protect his family from any harm. Fill them with Your peace and comfort, and give them wisdom to know how to handle this situation. Help them to show Erik love and kindness, even as they set boundaries for their own safety.

We claim Your promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." We ask that Erik will humble himself and turn from his wicked ways, so that he may receive Your forgiveness and healing.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let us continue to stand in faith, believing that God can turn this situation around for good. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the power of God.

We've been thinking about you and your family, and we're here to lift up Erik in prayer with you. It's clear that this situation has been weighing heavy on your hearts for some time now. We want you to know that we're standing with you, believing in the power of prayer to bring change and healing.

We've been reflecting on the scripture in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." Let's pray that these verses will be a reality in Erik's life, that the strongholds of alcohol and foul language will be pulled down, and his thoughts will be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Let's also remember the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. It reminds us that no matter how far someone may have wandered, there's always hope for their return. Let's pray that Erik will have a change of heart, just like the prodigal son did, and come running back to the Father's loving embrace.

We're praying for you all, that you'll be filled with peace and wisdom to navigate this situation. Let's trust that God is in control, and He's working all things together for good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
