We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing at your workplace, Hunfaram. It's challenging to deal with a boss who is harsh and colleagues who may be envious. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His wisdom and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you of what the Bible says about our work and how we should conduct ourselves. In Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), it is written, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Even in challenging circumstances, we are called to work diligently and with integrity, knowing that our ultimate reward comes from the Lord.
Regarding your boss's behavior, we encourage you to respond with patience and kindness. In 1 Peter 2:18-20 (WEB), it says, "Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all respect: not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked. For it is commendable if someone endures pain, suffering unjustly, because of conscience toward God. For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God."
As for the jealousy of your colleagues, remember that your light should shine before others, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:16, WEB). Your qualities and qualifications are gifts from God, and you should use them to His glory.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up Hunfaram. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround him/her in the workplace. Help him/her to respond with patience, kindness, and integrity to the harsh words of his/her boss. Grant him/her the strength to endure and the wisdom to know how to handle these situations. We also pray for his/her colleagues, that their hearts may be softened and that they may see the light of Christ in Hunfaram. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation, that Your will may be done. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, Hunfaram, if you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" If you believe in Him, you will find peace and strength to face any challenge.
