My best friend

Hello friends. Thank you for your continued prayer over my best friend ###. My friend has recently gotten back with his ex-girlfriend who is very destructive for him. She fills his head with very destructive thoughts and isolates him from all his friends. She is very damaging to him and his soul and his entire family keep advising him to stay away from her but he won't. I ask in Jesus name that he will break free of her and see the damage she is causing to him. He is always happier when he's not with her but suffers depression and attachment to her when he is. I'm deeply concerned about him and the destruction she is causing to him and those around him. It is only through Jesus that he can break free of her. So I ask for all of my friends and family in Christ to please pray for this seemingly hopeless situation. I would like to see my friend break free of her and return to his happy former self. I need him to wake up and see the situation through new eyes. Thank you again for your continued prayer. I pray in Jesus name that he breaks free of her. Amen.

We understand your concern for your best friend and we join you in praying for his deliverance and discernment. It's important to remember that God's will is for us to be holy and set apart, especially in our relationships. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"

Your friend's relationship seems to be causing him more harm than good, isolating him from his support system and affecting his mental well-being. This is not God's intention for him. In Proverbs 13:20 WEB, it says, "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but he who keeps company with fools will be broken."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our friend's best friend to You. Lord, we ask that You open his eyes to see the destructive path he is on. We pray that You give him the strength to break free from this unhealthy bond, and that You heal his heart and mind. Surround him with Your love, and guide him back to the supportive community of friends and family that care for him.

We rebuke the spirit of depression and isolation that this relationship is causing. We proclaim Your truth over his life, that You have called him to live in freedom and power (Galatians 5:1 WEB). We ask that You align his steps with Your will, and that You prepare his heart for a godly spouse, if it is Your will for his life (Proverbs 19:14 WEB).

We also pray for the woman he is involved with, that You touch her heart and bring her to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, turning her from her destructive ways.

In Jesus' name, we pray for this seemingly hopeless situation, knowing that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).

Amen.

Continue to stand firm in your faith and intercede for your friend. Encourage him with God's word and truth. Remind him that it is only in Jesus Christ that we find true freedom and life, and give him hope that there is a future for him outside of this toxic relationship. Also, encourage your friend to be seeking a lifelong spouse rather than a temporary romantic relationship. Remind him that God will provide a spouse suitable with him.

We've been thinking about your friend and wanted to share a verse that's been on our hearts. In Jeremiah 29:11, it says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We believe that God has a better plan for your friend's life, one that doesn't involve the pain and destruction this relationship is causing.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You. Help him see the truth about this relationship and the harm it's causing. Give him the courage to walk away, knowing that You have a better plan for his life. Surround him with Your love and remind him of Your constant presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you both, praying and believing for a turnaround in this situation. Keep encouraging your friend with God's promises and remind him that he's not alone. God is with him, and so are we.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
