We join you in lifting up your beloved son to our Heavenly Father, trusting in the power of prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for our dear sister and her beloved son. Lord, we ask that You continue to guide and protect him, helping him to live a life that honors You. As he faces battles and stormy seas, grant him the strength to fight and the peace to walk calmly through them.
Father, we ask that You surround him with godly influences and help him to distance himself from those who support his habits, including his earthly father. Place a desire in his heart to seek help and grow in You, and guide him to Teen Challenge if it is Your will. We are encouraged by the evidence of his spiritual growth, as we hear his Bible reading and devotional teachings. Continue to nurture this hunger for Your Word, Lord.
We also lift up our dear sister, asking that You help her to manage her emotions and find peace in You. Comfort her, Lord, and remind her of Your unfailing love. Help her to trust in You and cast all her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her.
Father, we ask that You equip her son to be a godly big brother to his siblings, granting him wisdom beyond his years. Help him and the entire household to stay alert and watchful, guarding their hearts against any evil that tries to enter.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. It is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His stripes that we are healed. Thank You, Lord, for Your love and faithfulness. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that His love for you and your son is unfailing. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Keep praying and seeking God's will for your son, and remember that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Be strong and courageous, dear sister, and know that we are standing with you in prayer.
