Patricia Ann, we stand with you in this challenging time, trusting in the power of Jesus' name and the will of our Father in heaven. We are reminded in Psalm 55.22 "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you." God cares about every detail of our lives, including financial struggles.
Regarding your bankruptcy, we pray that the Judge will have wisdom and discernment in your case. Remember the words of Romans 13.1 "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." We pray that the authorities will act with mercy and justice, according to God's will.
We also want to encourage you to continue seeking God's face during this trial. As it says in Hebrews 4.16 "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need," we can approach God confidently because by the blood of Jesus.
We are thankful that Patricia requests prayer in Jesus name, as this is the way to salvation. We have assurance in Acts 4.12 that "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" and John 3.36 that "He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but he who doesn’t obey the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." Therefore, keep believing in the Christ for your salvation and as your intercessor. God also reminds us to Matthew 6.25-34, not worry about the necessities of life, knowing God will provide. However, biblical principle is also clear in Romans 13.8 about owing no one anything except love and in Psalm 37.21 about the wicked borrowing and not repaying. But remember 1 John 1.9 tells us that if confess our sins and repent, Jesus is faithful. Therefore, since God does not want us in debt, and Patricia did not mean to deceive, we believe she will be measured with the same she measured with.
