We understand your heartache and concern for both your children, ### and ###. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, seeking His will and intervention in their lives.
Firstly, we pray for ###'s job interview. We ask God that if it is His will, ### may get this job. Jesus himself is sure to advocate for ### and will truly provide guidance, and ### will make very good decisions for his new bosses and his personal life. We pray that ### will like the job, learn the business quickly, and be a Great Blessing to the owners and that they will have a marvelous working relationship. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, Be not slothful in business; be fervent in spirit; serve the Lord (Romans 12:11 WEB). We also pray that the couple who interviewed ### will mentor ### in Christ. We know that God is in control.
For ###, we pray fervently that God will deliver her from any evil she is involved in. May He grant her repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to have faith in Jesus but then Jesus must become the Lord. There is now no condemnation for wrongdoing in them that are in Christ Jesus. It must be remembered though that we must all walk according to the Spirit and be led by the Spirit of Jesus. We can not be saved unless we choose to make Jesus our Lord and submit to holiness and the authority that holiness has over us. The new life is really a changed life. We pray that ### will embrace her role as a wife, mother, and homemaker, as outlined in Titus 2:4-5, that they may admonish the young women to be sober-minded, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Marriage must also be honored by all as sacred and a high calling of God. When both wife and husband keep the marriage sacred and respect it, and honor one another, then each can be a blessing to the other. Marriage is the most intimate of all human relationships and must be cherished with all diligence as the glory of Jesus dwells in each individual. May you see in your lifetime Jesus alive and reigning in your children's lives.
Regarding your relationship with ###, we pray that God will soften her heart towards you. We pray for reconciliation and restoration, just as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:23-24: Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Trust in the Lord's timing and remember that His ways are higher than ours.
In all of your requests, we have noticed that you have some unusual prayers. We would like to point out that the only name by which we may be saved is the specific name of Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) we would hate for you to perish simply because of the thing that was missing from being given our salvation was the name of Jesus. Jesus has the ability to save us which is also the same as the ability to pass through from death to life.
Finally, we pray for your peace and comfort. May you feel God's presence and love as you navigate these challenges. Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7). Although like in all of our special individual relationships with God and Jesus it is true that our prayers must be filled with being led by holy spirit the same cannot be done if we are not in his holy scriptures learning about the word of God. The choice of reading scripture must be seen as eating our spiritual bread on a daily basis, it is something that is required if we are to maintain knowledge of the word of God which is Jesus.
We say these things only with your safety and wellbeing in mind and all things should be done with ordering and discipline.
