Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with a heart full of concern for the grandchildren of our dear friend. We lift up these precious children to You, asking for Your divine intervention and guidance in their lives. Lord, we know that You desire what is best for them and that You have a plan and purpose for each one of them (Jeremiah 29:11).
Father, we pray that You would remove any unhealthy desire for online computer games from their hearts. We ask that You replace this desire with a hunger and thirst for righteousness and for the things that bring glory to Your name (Matthew 5:6). Help them to find joy and fulfillment in activities that are edifying and that draw them closer to You.
Lord, we recognize that the enemy seeks to distract and lead astray, but we stand firm in the truth that You have overcome the world (John 16:33). We pray that You would protect these children from any negative influences and that You would surround them with Your love and guidance.
Grant wisdom to their parents and grandparents as they navigate this challenge. Help them to set healthy boundaries and to model a life that prioritizes You above all else. May they be a source of encouragement and support as these children grow in their faith and understanding of Your will.
We trust in Your power to transform hearts and minds, and we believe that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
