We understand your heart's desire for peace, and we stand with you in prayer for South Africa and the whole world. We are reminded of Jesus' words in John 14:27 WEB: "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
However, we must address that the use of ### instead of the name Jesus Christ is not acceptable. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. In Acts 4:11-12 WEB, it is written, "This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together for peace.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You, asking for peace in South Africa and throughout the world. We pray for the peace that only You can give, Lord Jesus. We ask that You comfort those who are troubled and bring hope to those who are afraid. We pray for wisdom for leaders, that they would seek Your will and govern with integrity and justice.
We rebuke the spirit of violence and unrest, and we ask You to bring healing and reconciliation to those who are in conflict. Lord, remind us that true peace can only be found in You, and that it is through the gospel of Jesus Christ that hearts can be transformed and nations can be healed.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is the Prince of Peace. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Scripture: "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all." 2 Thessalonians 3:16 WEB. Trust in the Lord, and seek His face. He hears your prayers and will grant you the peace that only He can give.
