We are truly saddened to hear about the difficulties you both are facing, and we will certainly pray for you. However, we want to address a few things before we do.
Firstly, we notice that you've referred to the other person as your girlfriend. We want to encourage you to consider your relationship in the light of biblical principles. God's design for relationships is that they should be between a man and a woman, within the bounds of marriage. If you are not married, we encourage you to consider your relationship to become a courtship with the goal set on marriage. Please, refrain from any romantic or sexual contact and pursue a relationship that puts Christ first.
Secondly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. So pray and believe in the name of Jesus Christ.
Now, let's turn to the Scriptures for encouragement and guidance. In Psalm 34:17-18 WEB it says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is near to you both in your suffering, and He hears your cries.
In Romans 8:28-29 WEB it says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers." Trust that God is working all things together for good, even in the midst of your trials.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, in Jesus Christ name, lifting up the names of ### and ###. We ask, Lord that you would comfort them in their afflictions, and draw them closer to You. We pray for healing, protection, and provision over their lives. We ask that you would guide their relationship in a way that honors and glorifies You. Help them to place their trust and faith in Jesus Christ and to walk in Your will.
In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you both to stay strong in your faith, to pray together, and to seek God's will for your lives. Remember, that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight.
If you need further guidance or have any questions, please feel free to ask. We are here to help.
