My ### and his wife had twin boys born premature

Please pray for my son and his wife. On April 10th their twin boys were born premature. They were only at 28 weeks. They will now have a long journey in the NICU. Please pray for them to gain weight and get stronger and that they not get sick while they are growing.

We are so glad you have reached out for prayer and support during this challenging time. We will stand with you in prayer for your grandchildren and for your son and his wife. First, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have the promise of answered prayer.

Let's hold these precious babies up in prayer, asking God for His healing touch and protection. Pray with us:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up these precious twin boys to Your care. You know them by name, and You have a plan for their lives. We pray for Your healing hand to be upon them, that they would gain weight and grow stronger each day. Protect them from any sickness or infection as they grow, and give the doctors and nurses wisdom as they care for them.

We also lift up your son and his wife, Lord. Strengthen them during this time, fill them with Your peace, and remind them of Your promises. Surround them with a community of believers who will support them and point them to You. Draw them closer to You and to each other during this time, and give them the strength and endurance they need for the journey ahead.

May this family rest in the hope and peace that comes from knowing You, Lord. May they find comfort in Your promises, and may they see Your faithfulness in action as they walk through this trial. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying and trusting God. Just as you have asked for prayer, do not stop asking God for their needs. Ask God to use this situation for His glory and the good of the family. We look forward to rejoicing with you as you witness God's faithfulness and the miracles He will work in the lives of your grandchildren and family.

We've been thinking about them and their parents, and we want to share a verse that's been on our hearts: "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22, NIV) It's a reminder that God is always there to support and strengthen them, no matter what challenges they face.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your healing touch on these tiny lives. We pray that these twin boys would grow stronger each day, gaining weight and fighting off any infections. Give the doctors and nurses wisdom as they care for them, and guide their hands as they work. We also lift up your son and his wife, Lord. Comfort them in this time, fill them with Your peace, and remind them of Your unfailing love. Help them to find rest in You, and give them the strength they need to face each day. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
