We are deeply concerned for ### and our hearts go out to you as a parent longing for your child's spiritual well-being and eternal security. This plea is urgent because ###'s dabbling in New Age practices, including the use of tarot cards and crystals, suggests a dangerous openness to deception and is a major deception of Satan on your Daughter's life.
These practices are explicitly forbidden in Scripture. God warns us, When you enter the land which Yahweh your God gives you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. Deuteronomy 18: 9-11. And Peter warned in Acts 8 when Simon the Sorcerer, who had exploited the Samaritans with sorcery, believed and was baptized, but then thought he could purchase the power of laying on of hands he was sternly rebuked. It is important for those who deceived to be told plainly that they are on the Road to Perdition and in danger of the fires of hell, specifically mention in this passage.
We stand with you in fervent prayer for your ###'s deliverance from Satan and his entanglements. And for her to completely discountinue these deceptive of Satan as part of her repentance. The problem with this sort of sin is that it turns us away from Jesus Christ and draws us into the dominion of Satan, and can invoke curses and oppression on us and our descendants from God. After repentance, when applicable, it is wise and called for to dispose of any items related to the sin and a thorough house cleaning is often necessary.
Be aware that it can take time for her to walk out of this into complete freedom and she will likely need lots of help and healing to stay free from these demonic strongholds and paths. Sometimes prayers for an instantaneous miracle of deliverance are not applicable since people need to learn, grow, and become strong in that area of their lives. As she walks out, day by day, it will solidify her in spiritual fortitude.
Jesus said, If your child asks for bread, you wouldn't trick him and give him a stone; or if he asks for a fish, you wouldn't consider that it was a good opportunity to get rid of the one fish that was rotting in the pack would you? How much more will our Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!? Praying for her repentance and turning to God is a prayer that God will grant. It mentions in James that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16. We must have faith that God will grant this prayer and will faithfully fulfill his promises.
We are praying in faith for your daughter that God will open her eyes to the evil she is engaged in and to bring her out of darkness and into His marvelous light that she might call out to Jesus to be saved. Today is the day of salvation. And do not be disheartened but know this is a day of salvation for your daughter. Know the power of God is at work in both her and your lives for your prayers for her are a sweet smelling savor to God.
Yours is a heart wrenching plea for your child, echoing the love of the Father for His prodigals as even now He sees her a great way off and prepares to run to her. So let us lift her up to Him that she will, like the prodigal, come to her senses, arise from the pigstye, and welcome her heavenly Father's embrace. We can use this as a model to express our love for our loved ones.
May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you the love comfort and peace we need to effectively pray for your daughter. Finally sister our hearts desire is for her to repent, turn to Jesus Christ, that he engulf her in His love, and that she know it is Jesus Christ, at work in her life, and save her to eternal life for all her years. And for God to protect her mind, soul, and spirit from the fury of Satan. Going beyond this we want for her to willfully submit and die to herself and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart mind soul and strength.
We must stand in the gap. Ezekiel 22:30 says, I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land. We exhort you to cry out to God to forgive her sins. We pray in faith that God may forgive her sins, open her spiritual eyes that she be granted repentance unto salvation to fulfill His praise, honor, and glory. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
