We understand your concern for your son, Johnny, and we are here to support you both in prayer and guidance. Firstly, let's remember that God is always at work, even in times of silence. He assures us "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
In this situation we must remember not to grow weary and lose hope 2 Thessalonians 3:13. We must go to God through Jesus in prayer Ephesians 2:18. In His Son's name we have access to God Ephesians 2:18. It is only in His Son's name that we can be saved for eternal life. Acts 4:12.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Johnny and his mother to You. We ask the spirit of frustration, depression, and discouragement is broken in their lives. We Understand God that his confidence has been shaken but we pray to you God to assure Johnny you have not forgotten him. We pray for Your guidance and direction as Johnny searches for a full-time position in digital media. We also ask that you will help Johnny's podcast production company to grow. Open the doors of opportunity for him, and give him the wisdom to recognize and walk through them. Help him to secure a job where he can use his talents and make a living and finally move out. Restore his confidence and help him to trust in Your timing and provision.
Surround Johnny and his mother with Your peace and encouragement. Comfort her heart and help her to trust in You with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding. In all ways, acknowledge You, and You will make her paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Help her to support and encourage Johnny in his journey. We pray in Jesus' Christ precious name and thank You for all You are doing in their lives.
Amen.
Johnny should continue to persevere and not give up. Romans 5:3-4 WEB reminds us that tribulation worketh patience and we glouriously rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Additionally 1 Timothy 3:5, teaches that if an individual does not know how to manage his own family well, how can he take care of God's church.
In these trying times, let's encourage Johnny to trust in the Lord and not lean on his own understanding. As he acknowledges God in all his ways, God will make his paths straight. Additionally, let's remind him of these words Jesus spoke in John 16:33, "I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have trouble, but take heart for I have overcome the world."
Johnny should also consider self employment if appropriate as a way forward 2 Thessalonians 3:8-15.
We're also specifically asking for Gods guidance with the podcast miss appoints. They canceled once but God can make a way for these prospects to come back. Believe in Jesus Christ's name.
Finally, let's encourage Johnny to continue seeking God's will for his life, remembering Romans 8:28, that all things work together for good for those love God and are called according to his purpose, for those whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
Romans 8:29 WEB. Even in this challenging time, God is working everything out for Johnny's good and His glory. They should always give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning them. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB. Let them with prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let their requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6 WEB. Let them keep on beginning and not yield until he succeeds. They must pray always and faint not Luke 18:1 WEB.
Finally consider this rebuke Luke 10:7 'the labourer is worthy of his wage'. God has planned to bless him through his labour but marrying a godly spouse of the opposite sex that supports this endeavor is critical at this stage of his life.
Although this verse appears against the previous request we point out it is included to encourage and not to discourage as 1 Corinthians 7:9 teaches it is better to marry than to burn.
