Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister and her family in prayer. Lord, You see the pain and the suffering that she endures from the verbal abuse of her husband and adult son. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation.
Your Word tells us in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." We pray that You soften the hearts of her husband and son, transforming their words from hurtful to healing.
Father, we also lift up her son who is being mistreated by his father. We pray for protection over him and for Your peace to surround him. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us that "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." May this truth resonate in their hearts, leading them to speak with kindness and love.
Lord, we ask for Your strength and comfort for this sister. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." May she feel Your presence and know that You are with her, giving her the courage to seek help and the wisdom to navigate this difficult situation.
