We understand your concern for your children and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for their lives.
Let's address your daughter's involvement in New Age practices. The Bible is clear that we should not engage in any form of divination or sorcery. As it is written in Galatians 5:19-21 WEB, "Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God."
We pray together for your daughter.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we bring your daughter before You, asking that You break any hold that Satan has on her through these New Age practices. Open her eyes to the evil that underlies these activities. Grant her a heart of repentance, that she may turn away from these things and give her life fully to You. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Regarding your son, we pray that God will direct him to a career where he can support himself and bring glory to God. As Proverbs 22:29 states, "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings. He will not stand before obscure men."
We pray for your son together.
Father God, in the name of Your precious Son, we ask that You guide your son to a career that is honorable and allows him to support himself. Give him a spirit of excellence in his work, and may he find favor in the sight of men and You. If comedy is not Your will for him, then remove this desire from his heart and replace it with a passion for that which You have called him to do. We ask that You provide this career for him within the next week. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Your son said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved."
We encourage you to continue to stand in faith for your children, trusting that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20. Stay in prayer and in the Word, and trust that God is working in their lives.
Lastly we pray together for you.
Father, please give this parent strength and encouragement as they pray for their children, and may they rest in the knowledge that their children are held in Your hands. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
