My 8 year old revealed to me today that he doesn’t have many friends at school anymore and my heart is shattered. He has been suffering with anxiety and low self confidence for the last few years despite our efforts to help build up his confidence. I’m trying to find a therapist/doctor he can talk with to help resolve his insecurities but I’m having a very difficult time finding one taking on new child patients. Not to mention the out of pocket costs are going to be extremely difficult to come up with. Please pray that my sweet, smart, amazing boy can learn the tools he needs to deal with his anxiety, lack of self esteem, and that we find someone who is able to help. Please pray that our financial situation improves. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

Maybe if you tell him the story of David and Goliath, how David knew that God would help him conquer the enemy, it might help. Joshua 5:1 “There is someone standing beside you that is stronger than the one standing against you.” Let him know God is ALWAYS with him and ready to help if he just asks God for help everyday.
