Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Olwor and their 37-year-old son who has been diagnosed with colon cancer. Lord, we acknowledge that this is a serious and challenging situation, but we know that nothing is impossible for You.
We pray, Lord, that You would intervene in this situation and bring healing to Olwor's son. We ask that the chemotherapy treatment he is undergoing would be effective in shrinking the aggressive tumor and preventing any metastasis. Your Word reminds us in Jeremiah 30:17 that You will restore health and heal wounds, so we claim that promise over Olwor's son right now.
Lord, we also pray for strength and comfort for Olwor and their family during this difficult time. May Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7.
We trust in Your divine wisdom and sovereignty, knowing that You are in control of every situation. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom for the medical team treating Olwor's son, that they may make the best decisions for his care.
In all things, Lord, we pray that Your will be done. We surrender this situation into Your loving hands, knowing that You are a God of miracles and healing. We thank You in advance for the healing and restoration that You will bring to Olwor's son's body.

I’m very sorry to hear about your son’s cancer, friend. I just said a prayer for him. May the Lord touch him with His healing hand, give him the relief he needs and surround him and your family with His peace and strength at this time. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).
