We understand that you have three heart desires and we will pray and respond to each one according to the will of God and biblical principles.
Firstly, it is wonderful to have hope and optimism for the future, and we should always trust that God's plan for us is good and perfect. However, as believers in Christ, our ultimate hope should be in Him, not just in better times or circumstances. We are reminded in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Our hope is in God, who is able to turn even the worst situations into good for those who love Him.
Secondly, we all desire to have reasons to rejoice, but we must understand that true joy comes from the Lord, not from our circumstances. In Psalm 16:11, it is written, "You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore." We should seek God's presence, where there is fullness of joy, rather than merely seeking reasons to rejoice.
Thirdly, we should be careful not to chase after worldly experiences and events, but rather seek God's will for our lives. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus tells us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." When we put God first, He will provide us with everything we need, including wonderful experiences and events.
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved. We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, if you have not already done so.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, bringing before You the desires of Proithain's heart. Father, help Proithain to put their hope in You, trusting that Your plan for their life is good and perfect. Help them to find their joy in Your presence, not in their circumstances. Give them a desire to seek Your will for their life, above all else.
We also pray that Proithain will come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ if they have not already, knowing that it is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to You, Father.
We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
