Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Wags and their 20-year-old son to you. We acknowledge that confusion is not of You, and we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray that you would open the eyes of Wags' son to the truth of Your Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, we ask that you would protect him from the influence of legalistic Christians who may be causing doubt and confusion in his faith. We pray that he would have discernment to recognize the difference between legalism and the freedom found in Christ. Your Word reminds us in Galatians 5:1, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."
We ask that you would fill Wags' son with Your peace and assurance of his worthiness in Christ. Help him to understand that his worth is not based on his own efforts or the opinions of others, but on the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Remind him of the truth found in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."
Holy Spirit, we pray that you would guide Wags' son in all areas of his life. Give him wisdom and discernment to recognize Your voice and follow Your leading. Help him to rely on Your guidance rather than the confused teachings of others. Your Word assures us in John 16:13, "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth."
Lord, we thank you for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect plan for Wags' son's life, and we pray that he would experience a deep and personal relationship with You. May he find peace, clarity, and confidence in his identity as a beloved child of God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless you and keep you, Wags, and may His peace surround you and your family.
