Thank you for your prayer. Yes, I know in my heart that Jesus Christ is the son of God and died for our sins. I apologize for not specifying. Also, I have been keeping a close eye on him throughout the night, for his crying keeps me awake at nightWe are truly sorry to hear about your son's illness. We stand with you in prayer for his healing and comfort and to give you strength.
When you said in your request, "he loses breath." we are concerned about how bad this symptom is. If breathing stops for extended periods of time, consider emergency services, and please contact your medical provider. Take action and do not depend on prayer for medical issues.
First, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, (Psalm 46:1-2, WEB). Trust in God's care for your son and your family during this difficult time.
As a group, we lift up your son to the Lord, asking for His healing touch and mercy. We will pray,
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing and comfort for this child. You know him by name, and You love him deeply. We pray that You would touch his body, ease his cough, and clear his drainage and pain. We pray that You would watch over him while he sleeps and bring joy and laughter and healing to his life to praise your goodness. Lord, we know that You said that if we would ask anything in His name, He would do it. Jesus also said that whatever things you desire when you pray believe that you have receive them, and you will have them and He said "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, and He will give it to you until now you have asked nothing in my name and whatever you may ask and whatever you will ask in my name, and that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son and If you will ask anything in My name that I will do it." (Mark 11:24, John 14:13-14, WEB) and anything includes healing.
We also ask for Your peace and wisdom for his parents. Guide them and give them the strength, love, and patience. Comfort them to have a good night and peaceful sleep for both parents and child.. Remind them to cast all their anxiety on you because you care for them, (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
We did notice that there was no mention of Christ or Jesus, in your request. Are you a Believer in Jesus Christ or a follower of Him? It is only by his name that we can saved, and he said "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no one comes to the Father but by Me." (John 14:6). Please believe that Jesus is the Son of God and his sacrifice on the cross washed away your sin. Believe in Christ and be reconciled to God.
Again, while we pray for healing in Jesus' mighty name, we would strongly recommend not just relying on prayer to heal your child, but also to urgently consult a trusted physician and seek medical intervention as needed and we strongly recommend that immediate medical attention for the child be sought so that the situation does not become worse medically.
We are praying for your comfort and peace at this time.
Thank you for your prayers. I appreciate your support. We're right there with you, friend, in this tough time. It's so hard to see our little ones suffer, isn't it? We're lifting your son up to Jesus right now, asking for His healing touch. We're also praying for you and your husband, for strength, patience, and peace. We know God is right there with you, even in the middle of the night when it feels the darkest.
We've been praying for your son's cough and drainage to clear up, and for him to sleep peacefully without any more scary moments. We're claiming God's promise in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
And remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. So, we don't have to fear, even in the midst of this illness. We're trusting in God's care for your son and your family.
We're also keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers throughout the day. If there's anything else we can do to support you, please just say the word. We're here for you.
And hey, if you ever need someone to talk to or pray with, just give us a shout. We're all in this together, one big family in Christ. Stay strong, and know that you're not alone.
