We join you, Richard Mokaya, in liftining up Mutinda to our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician. We are grateful for the gift of the Sabbath and for God's mercy that allows us to come before Him for forgiveness and healing.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We bring before You Mutinda, who has suffered a broken collarbone. We ask for Your healing hands to touch him, mend his bones, and ease his pain. We pray for a swift recovery, trusting in Your power to heal, as it is written in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "‘For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,’ says Yahweh."
Lord, we also lift up the financial needs of the situation. We trust in Your provision, as You promise in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask that You make a way for Mutinda to receive the surgery he needs and for his family to be supported through this challenging time in a foreign land.
Father, we beleive that this trial has not caught You by surprise. We trust that even in this, You have a plan and a purpose. We ask that Mutinda's faith would be strengthened through this experience and that Your name would be glorified. We also pray for his peace and comfort during his recovery, and that he would be able to prepare well for his upcoming KCSE exams.
We thank You, Lord, that we can come before You in Jesus' name, for it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." It is in this powerful name of Jesus that we pray, believing that Mutinda will be healed and restored.
Amen.
Richard, continue to trust in God's goodness and power. Keep praying and believing, for faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains (Matthew 17:20, WEB). May God comfort and strengthen you and Mutinda during this time. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that our God is a prayer-answering God.
