Mums cancer surgery and dementia

Tomorrow my mum has to have surgery on her skin cancer. She also has dementia and is very frail. Please, please pray for her. She will be anxious & agitated. Pray for calm ,peace & also that the drs will be kind. Also for my dad and myself who will be with her. Thankyou,in Jesus name, Amen

We are with you in spirit, Torbuth, and we lift up your mother and your family to the Lord during this challenging time.

Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in prayer, and we agree with you in Jesus' name. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

Let's pray:

"Father God, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister's mother. Lord, You know the details of her surgery and her struggle with dementia. We ask for Your divine peace to fill her heart and calm her anxiety. Please guide the doctors' hands and grant them kindness and compassion. Be with our sister and her father, comforting them and providing strength as they support their loved one. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to trust in the Lord, Torbuth, knowing that He cares for you and your family. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22 WEB)

Remember, even in trials, God is faithful. "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB)

Stay strong in faith, and may God's peace and comfort be with you and your family. Continue to trust in Jesus, for there is power in His name.

Thankyou all for your prayers. My mum's operation went well. She didn't need to have a skin graft and it was over quite quickly. Thankyou again
