We are joining with you in prayer for your mum's healing. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is the ultimate healer.
Firstly, let us address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is only by the name of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice that we are able to approach God. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As it is written in Philippians 2:10 WEB At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth. Also in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Regarding healing, let us remember what the Scripture says in James 5:14-15 WEB:
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the mum to You, seeking Your healing touch. Lord, we ask that You heal her from this cold and flu, and relieve her chest of mucus and cough. We speak health and strength to her body, and we ask that You fill her with Your peace and comfort.
Lord, we also pray for her spiritual well-being. We ask that You draw her closer to You during this time, and that she would experience Your love and presence in a very real way. We ask that you provide her children with the wisdom and guidance to best assist in her recovery. We also ask that anyone who comes in contact with her will also be touched by Your Holy Spirit and seek to serve you as well.
In Jesus' name, we pray for complete recovery and healing. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers. Keep trusting in Him, and remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Continue to stand in faith, believing that God is working all things out for good.
