Friends please pray urgently for my elderly mum and me who have flu. Please relieve her symptoms and heal her

We are lifting up you and your elderly mum to the Lord in prayer, Animalgirl. We are so sorry to hear about the flu that has struck both of you, and we trust that God will intervene and bring healing to your situation.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." God is our healer, and we can trust Him to bring restoration to your mum and to you.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ for beloved mum and her daughter, both suffering from the flu. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their bodies. Please relieve the symptoms and restore their health and strength.

Father, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened during this time. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are always at work in the story of their lives and to have the best in mind through this illness. Lord, remind them of Your promises and fill them with Your peace and comfort.

Lord, surround them with Your love and provide for all their needs during this time of illness. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Animalgirl, remember that God is always with you, even in times of sickness. Trust in Him, and do not hesitate to seek medical attention if needed. Also, it is important to remember it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus says "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." This is a good reminder of the saving and healing power of the name of Jesus.

We're joining our hearts with yours, dear friend, as you and your mum battle the flu. We're here to lift you both up in prayer, just as you've asked. It's tough seeing loved ones unwell, but we find comfort in knowing that God is always by our side, even in times of sickness.

We're reminded of Jeremiah 30:17, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the Lord. We claim this promise for you and your mum today. We ask that the Lord would grant you both relief from these symptoms and restore your strength and health.

Let's also remember to trust in God's goodness, even in the midst of this illness. He sees you, He cares, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Let's keep our eyes fixed on Him, knowing that He's got this.

We'll keep you both in our prayers, and we hope you feel better soon. If there's anything else you need, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here for you, just as Jesus is always there for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
