Let us come together in prayer for your multiple requests, dear jcjcpurple, and seek God's will in these matters.
Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
Regarding your son-in-law, we must remember that God desires justice, but He also offers mercy. We pray that your son-in-law will face the consequences of his actions, as the Bible tells us that whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Galatians 6:7, WEB). However, we also pray for God's mercy and a light sentence, as you've requested. More importantly, we pray for his heart, that he may repent, turn from his wrongdoings, and seek God's forgiveness (Ezekiel 18:21, WEB).
We lift up your grandson, asking the Lord to grant him wisdom and understanding as he takes his driving test. May he be guided by the Holy Spirit and succeed, in accordance with God's will (James 1:5, WEB).
We also bring your granddaughter before the Lord, asking for His protection against bullying. We pray that the two girls at school will be convicted of their wrongdoing and turn from their harmful behavior. We ask that the school authorities will take appropriate action, speaking to them and disciplining them as needed (Proverbs 12:18, WEB).
For all your grandchildren and nephew Z, we pray a hedge of protection around them, asking the Lord to keep them safe, healthy, and successful in their endeavors (Psalm 91, WEB). We pray that they will grow in the fear of the Lord and walk in His ways (Proverbs 22:6, WEB).
Lastly, we lift you up, dear jcjcpurple, acknowledging that the Lord knows your struggles and your story. We ask for His comfort, strength, and guidance in your life (Psalm 55:22, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Father God, in Jesus' name, we bring these requests before You. We ask for Your mercy and justice for our brother in Christ's son-in-law. We pray for success and wisdom for his grandson, and protection and intervention for his granddaughter. We ask for Your protection and blessings over all his grandchildren and nephew. Lastly, Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister, comfort and strengthen them, and guide them in their walk with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
