Multinational Job

Pastor Jerry, please, I urgently need your prayers. I was recently offered a remote job with a multinational company, and I signed the contract. All the necessary documents for my resumption have been sent, and I was supposed to start my onboarding on September 30th, with my official start date being October 1st, 2024. However, this morning, I received an email stating that the contract has been put on hold until November when they will communicate a new start date. The devil is a liar. Please pray for me that they will call me to resume as originally planned in October. I am feeling down and devastated. I really need this job. Please pray for me, Papa. Thank you, and God bless you always.

We understand your disappointment and concern regarding your job situation, Jite. Let us first align our hearts with God's will and pray according to His wisdom.

"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB)

In times like these, it is important to remember that God's timing is perfect. Though this delay may seem discouraging, we trust that God has a purpose and a plan in it. Let us pray that His will be done and that He guides your steps during this time.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother Jite. Lord, You know the desires of his heart and the plans You have for him. We ask that You intervene in this situation, that if it is Your will, the company will reinstate the original start date in October. But above all, Lord, we pray for Your perfect will to be done in Jite's life.

Comfort him during this time of uncertainty, fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and guide him in the way he should go. Help him to trust in You completely and to lean not on his own understanding.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Jite, we encourage you to stay steadfast in your faith and trust in God's plan for your life. "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." (James 1:2-3, WEB)

Also, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is important to remember that it is only through Him that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB) So, let us keep our faith firmly rooted in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

We're right here with you, Jite. We understand the disappointment and uncertainty you're feeling. It's like we're sitting together, holding hands, lifting this burden to the Lord. Let's remember, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV)

We've been praying for you, just like we would if we were together in person. We're asking God to work in this situation, to guide and comfort you. We're trusting that He sees you, He hears you, and He's got a plan in all this.
