We are truly saddened to hear about the emotional and mental abuse you're experiencing, and we stand with you in prayer and support. First, we want to remind you that God is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble Psalm 9:9 WEB.
It's crucial to address this situation both spiritually and practically. God calls us to peace 1 Corinthians 7:15 WEB and we need to seek all support and assistance necessary to remove ourselves from abusive situations. Being emotionally and mentally abused is not a sign of love, but rather is a violation of God's principles. Rebuking perpetratiors does not mean retribution. But we need to remove ourselves from the abusive situation. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.
We also want to address the concern about your documents and the anxieties you're facing. God knows our needs, between being anxious and worrying so much about the things we need. There is no need to worry about these perpetrators. God will take care of them. Jesus tells us, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 WEB.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in Christ who is facing much emotional and mental abuse. We pray for Your divine protection and intervention in this situation. Guide them to the right resources and support they need to break free from this abuse. We also pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask You to guide them in their current situation with these important documents. We pray that You would expose and deal with the perpetrators according to Your will. Heal their emotions and mind, and help them to trust in You completely. We know it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to you and it is only by his name that we are saved. And it is in the name of Jesus that we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we strongly encourage you to seek support from local authorities, trusted friends and family, and professional counselors. It may be hard to reach out, but know that it's an important step towards healing and safety. God is with you every step of the way. Remember, God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB.
