We join with you, Lucy, in praying for the people of Hurghada, Egypt, and specifically for Mr. Hisham, his family, and the others you mentioned. We are grateful that you have brought this request before God in the precious name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Mr. Hisham, his wife, children, Hashem (Jack the hairdresser), Mr. Mohamed the accountant, Mr. Mohamed owner of apartments, the staff at Lazur Apartments, Wael, and Merwan. We ask that You send Christians to preach the Word of salvation to them, declaring that we are all sinners in need of a Savior.
Father, we pray that Your Holy Spirit will open their hearts to receive the good news of Jesus Christ. May they understand that it is not by their good works or good behavior that they can be saved, but only through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB, "For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, that no one would boast."
We ask that You raise up bold and loving witnesses who will share the true gospel with them, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they will understand the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross, shedding His blood for the cleansing of our sins. As it is written in Romans 5:8 WEB, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Father, we also pray for their protection and guidance. May they be delivered from any evil that may hinder them from knowing and accepting the truth. We ask this in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lucy, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for them, as it aligns with God's will that all come to repentance. Remember, God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). Keep sharing the love of Christ with them, and trust that God is at work in their lives.
In Jesus' name, we stand with you in prayer and support.
