We understand your pain and desire for vindication, Thoguneareth. However, let us remember what the Word of God says in Romans 12:19, "Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath of God: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord." It is not our place to seek revenge, but to trust that God will deal with the situation in His perfect way and timing.
Holding onto anger and bitterness can indeed hinder your journey with God. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not justify the wrong done to you, but it releases you from the bondage of resentment.
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Thoguneareth. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on their heart. Help them to release the pain, anger, and desire for revenge to You. We know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts. We trust that You will work all things together for good, according to Your purpose. Open new doors for Thoguneareth, and guide them on the path You have set before them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is faithful and just. He sees all and will deal with each person accordingly. Your focus should be on moving forward with God, growing in His grace, and living the life He has called you to live. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight. As Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
