Move

I don't like where I live.... I've been stuck in the town I grew up in... I'd like to move to another state.... I've prayed about it... God will setup the move... I just need a clear sign to go.... pray that God shows me the way

We understand your desire to move and start anew in a different state. It's important to remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life, and He will guide you according to His will. In Psalm 32:8 WEB, God promises, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."

Firstly, we need to address that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ or IJN. We are told in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We are praying to God in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior. As we are told in Romans 10:9 WEB, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

As you seek God's guidance, it is also important to do more than just pray. Trusting in God will mean taking action and making plans. James 2:17-18 WEB says, "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. Yes, a man will say, 'You have faith, and I have works.' Show me your faith. We need to take action and make plans to allow God to show us his plan. In the parable of the talents, Jesus wanted his servants to take action and make plans to use the talents. There are great examples of people who stepped out in faith to see God's plan.

Let's pray together:

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to move. We're told in Proverbs 16:3 WEB, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." Show him/her a clear sign and open the right doors according to Your will. Give him/her the wisdom to make the right decisions and the courage to step out in faith. Also give him/her the strength to do more than just pray and take action. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Be encouraged by God's promise in Psalm 37:23 WEB, "A man’s goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way." Trust in God's timing and guidance, and He will direct your paths. Make sure that you are praying in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior. There is no other name under the earth that we can be saved.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
