We understand your desire to see the eradication of norovirus and rotavirus, and we commend your heartfelt concern for the health and well-being of others. However, we must address a couple of things. First, the power to eradicate these viruses does not lie with us, but with God. We can pray and ask for His will to be done, but we must also accept that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Additionally, setting a specific date like 2025 may not be in alignment with God's timing.
Furthermore, it's crucial to remember that our prayers should always be in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. The first thing you should do when praying is call upon Jesus Christ. If you are a believer then you should do it. If you are not a believer, then the first step is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior and to acknowledge your sins to him. Only after you are a believer can you then have access to God to pray for others and have them answered. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. and also in John 14:13-14 WEB, Whatever you will ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in My name, I will do it.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging Your sovereignty and goodness. We lift up the suffering caused by norovirus and rotavirus, and we ask for Your healing and protection. We pray for the researchers and medical professionals working to combat these viruses, that You would guide and equip them.
We know that You can help, Lord. And we know that the way that You do things is best. But if it be Your will, Lord, then please do it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in Jesus. We cannot save ourselves from disease and we cannot save ourselves from the law. Romans 3:23 says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. There is only one way to salvation. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved. Trust in Jesus, the Lord and Savior of all, and if you are saved then trust that He has the power to answer prayers in His will.
