Move over seas

Moving overseas in February to train and live in Australia, want to start work immediately after getting a vehicle on arrival, and start saving some money, then move to Spain and train also. Desire and goal is to complete lifting goals, increase strength and fitness and flexibility dramatically, having the right products and people around me and the right equipment. Once I leave New Zealand, I do not want to return; I want to die overseas for my final resting place.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God has a plan and purpose for each of us. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We pray that you will seek God's will in this move, and that His purpose will be clear to you.

Regarding your fitness goals, we commend your dedication to maintaining your physical health. The Apostle Paul encourages us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We pray that as you pursue these goals, you will do so in a way that honors God and benefits your physical and spiritual well-being.

However, we must also address the final part of your request. As believers, our ultimate hope and final resting place should be in Jesus Christ, not a physical location. In John 11:25-26 (WEB), Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die." We gently rebuke the idea of desiring to die overseas for your final resting place, and instead encourage you to place your hope in the eternal life that Jesus offers.

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already, and to pray in His name.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up ### to You, asking for Your guidance and blessing as they plan to move overseas. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
