GLORIOUS SABBATH DAY PEOPLE OF GOD
To The Cities Who Have Ears To Hear:
Ordinarily, I would've reserved this warning entry for another day; but, because The Holy Spirit so fervently revealed it to me today, I must impart it today. Whenever God is trying to get a message through to His people, there is usually scriptural repetition. Yesterday I made reference to this city's mourning clothes, from the standpoint of Jesus entering into the city of Jerusalem. When I say that this city is walking in the book of Jeremiah, I am not speaking haphazardly. Though God does not reveal every detail to us, all at once; what we lack in information, the Holy Spirit, having foreknowledge of all things, reveals according to God's perfect timing. True to form, in reaffirming His purposed message for this city, today the Holy Spirit led me to the following text where, not only is the reference to mourning clothes reaffirmed, but likewise is the message of exile, which I have mostly spoken on the streets, saying: "pack your bags," also rebroadcast.
"Shout to Jerusalem and to all Judah! Tell them to sound the alarm throughout the land: 'Run for your lives! Flee to the fortified cities!' Send a signal toward Jerusalem: 'Flee now! Do not delay!' For I am bringing terrible destruction upon you from the north." A lion stalks from its den, a destroyer of nations. And it is headed for your land! Your towns will lie in ruins, empty of people. SO PUT ON CLOTHES OF MOURNING and weep with broken hearts, for the fierce anger of the Lord is still upon us. (Jeremiah 4:5-8)
Then Jeremiah said to all the officials and all the people: "The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and this city all the things you have heard." (Jeremiah 26:12)
"Don't nobody wanna hear that," is the common response: He already knows, and foretold of that as well. But, when God sends a message of disaster it is to save lives; yet, great loss of life often occurs because of indiffernce and rejection of His gracious warning. All cities belong to Him.
