We join you in prayer for your mother's healing and upcoming surgery. Let's come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name we can be saved. As it is the name of Jesus has authority and by His stripes we are healed.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved mother who is in need of Your healing touch. We thank You that You are the Great Physician, and with You, nothing is impossible.
We pray for her upcoming surgery, that Your hands guide the medical team, granting them wisdom and skill. We pray for a successful procedure and a swift recovery. If the surgery is not required, we pray that you would stop the surgery.
We also pray for her broken hip, shoulder, and injured knee. We declare Your healing power over her body, and we believe that You are faithful to complete the good work You have started in her. We pray that her body will align with Your Word, which says, "But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays." (Malachi 4:2 WEB)
We also pray for her comfort and peace during this time, and we ask that You surround her with Your love and presence. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety and proclaim Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We ask these things in accordance with Your will, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
To armor of God: Be excited about this trial for we consider it an honor to be able to partake in sufferings for Christ. We know the power of resurrection is in our lives. Praise God and rejoice for the trial you face today. Christians are asked to rejoice in the midst of their suffering. Honor your mother and this suffering as it may be the source of healing in more ways than you know. Your gift to her will only increase as your spirit is made willing for this. Our Lord was a man of sorrows: familiar with our suffering. โ For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his stepsโ (1 Peter 2:21 WEB).
Furthermore, according to Hebrew 12:7, it says, Endure your suffering as discipline; God is treating you as his children. And even if those words of scripture are not the reason for your mother's suffering, they can be for you if you take them from her and add them to yourself. Be joyful because you do not have to take on this suffering.
Stand strong in the faith, and let the peace of God rule in your hearts. Remember that the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB). Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful.
Finally, in reply to Armor of God, may you be reminded of Paul's encouragement in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
May the peace and joy of the Lord be with you and your mother.
