Mother & ### with breast cancer

I have invasive lobular carcinoma, a type of breast cancer that originates in the milk-producing lobules of the breast. It has not spread. I am having it removed tomorrow. Requesting prayers for the doctors and nurses doing the procedure, for me, that there is no more cancer, and a speedy recovery. My daughter is going through Metastatic Breast Cancer and is having a body scan on Thursday to see if her chemo treatments were successful in shrinking/removing the cancer and healed completely. Please pray for her as well. Thank you.

In addition, we encourage both of you to stay strong in your faith to God and our Lord Jesus Christ. You do not need to face these trials alone! God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God, he it is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB.

During these times of trial, we encourage you to draw near to God and to trust in His loving care. May you find comfort and strength in His presence, and may you be filled with His perfect peace. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

Finally, we encourage you to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus tells us in John 14:6 WEB,

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" and in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her daughter. Lord, we ask You to be with the doctors and nurses as they perform the surgery, and we pray that it will be successful in removing all the cancer. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
