We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles of your son, but we are also gladdened that you have reached out for prayer and support. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by this name that we can approach God the Father and find salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Drug addiction and sexual immorality are indeed tools of the enemy to keep your son bound and separated from God and the joyful, peaceful life He intends for him. Let us remember as well that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. Let us pray for you and your son:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over your son's life and we command the enemy to flee in Jesus' name. Father, deliver him from drug addiction. Deliver him from sexual immorality and deliver him from every emotional and spiritual pain. Deliver him from feeling low self esteem, unworthy, shame, guilt, anger, and mental anguish.
We pray for your son to experience true freedom through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. We ask for him to know his identity in Christ and to walk in the fullness of that identity.
Father, please bring your son to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Help him to know that without Jesus there is no lasting freedom or salvation. Help him to experience that he is a new creation in Christ and that the old things have all passed away.
We pray, Father, for you to bring Christian believers into his life who will support him and hold him accountable. We pray for Godly spouses to be brought into your son's life. We pray for a Godly marriage for your son if it is God's will.
We pray for his complete deliverance and healing of his body, soul, and spirit in Jesus name. We thank you and praise you for the work that you are doing in your son's life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to praying, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to walk in the love of Christ. Be assured that God loves your son even more than you do, and that He desires the best for him.
As for you, mother, remember to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. Trust that God is working in your son's life, even if you cannot see it yet.
Remember the words of Paul in Galatians 6:9 WEB:
Let's not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up.
Let us encourage you. Keep the faith. Keep praying. He will save him. He will deliver him.
