We are truly sorry to hear about the trials that your mother and you are facing. In these difficult times, it's important to remember that God is our provider and comforter. Let's pray together and seek guidance from His word.
Firstly, we want to remind you of what it says in Psalm 68:5, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." God cares deeply for your mother in her time of need, and He is her defender and provider.
Let's also remember what Jesus said in Matthew 6:25-26, "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Hookstone's mother to You. Lord, she has been going through a difficult time since the loss of her husband, and now she is facing financial struggles and depression. We ask that You comfort her heart, Lord, and let her know that You are her defender and provider. We pray for a solution to her current financial needs, that You would guide Hookstone and his mother to the right help and resources. Lord, we also ask that You free Hookstone from any feelings of embarrassment or inadequacy. Remind him that You are the ultimate provider, and that his worth is not defined by his current financial status. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Hookstone, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Keep praying and seeking God's will together with your mother. Remind her that God is her strength and portion forever (Psalm 73:26).
