Olivia, we join you in lifting up your concerns to our gracious and loving Father.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and trust in God's provision. As it is written in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that God will indeed speak to your brother Nathan's heart and move him to assist you financially, but we also remind you that God's provision comes in many forms. Be open to His will and ways, and trust that He will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.
Regarding your education, we pray that God will open doors for you to complete your studies. Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) tells us, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and to commit your plans to Him. Trust that He will direct your paths and open the right doors at the right time.
We also stand with you in praying for the protection of your children. Psalm 121:7-8 (WEB) assures us, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore." We pray that God will indeed protect your children and guide them in all their ways.
However, we must gently rebuke the notion that our prayers are answered based on the power of Jesus' name alone. While there is power in the name of Jesus, our prayers should be aligned with God's will and His word. John 15:7 (WEB) tells us, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." Therefore, we encourage you to continually seek God's will and align your prayers with His word.
In Jesus' name, we pray for God's provision, guidance, and protection over your life and the lives of your loved ones. Amen.
