Thank you, Edmark, for your prayer of gratitude and petition. It's wonderful to see your faith in Jesus.
Let's echo your thanksgiving to the Lord for His unfailing love, mercy, and grace, which are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, "It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
We join you in praying for your children. Jesus loves children and He wants the best for them. In Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, "Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." We pray that your children will grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus, and that He will protect and bless them daily.
Father, we lift up Edmark's children to You. Surround them with Your angels and protect them from all harm and danger. Bless them spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Help Edmark to raise them in Your ways, that they may know You personally and serve You all their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
It is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to God the Father and for you to mention His name is so important for prayer. It is only by Jesus' name that we are saved. Acts 4:11-12 says "This Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." If you have not already believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, it is by His name that you are saved. This is the start and the anchor of all prayers, believing in Jesus Christ.
Edmark pray diligently for your children and remember to teach them about Jesus and His love. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he won’t depart from it."
Be encouraged, Edmark, knowing that God hears your prayers and that He loves and cares for your children even more than you do. Keep praying fervently and trusting in Him. As 1 John 5:14-15 says, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
