Amen, Smilee! "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thes 5:18). Trusting God's healing and praise Him always!
We understand your heart's cry, Ethove. You desire a deeper encounter with God, and that is a beautiful thing. Firstly, let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only through Jesus Christ that we can truly experience God and be transformed.
In Acts 4:12 (WEB), we are reminded, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So, as you pray for more of God, remember to come in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank you for Ethove's hunger for more of you. Lord, we ask that you would reveal yourself to Ethove in a powerful way. Transform them by the renewing of their mind, so that they may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Fill them with your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let their life be a testament to your goodness and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Ethove, to continually seek God with all your heart. He promises in Jeremiah 29:13 (WEB), "'You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.'" Keep pursuing Him, keep studying His word, and keep communicating with Him in prayer. And remember, it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved. If you haven't already, ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for that is the start of a transformed life in Christ.
