We join you in prayer, asking God to help you release any blocks to the abundant life Jesus came to give you. In Christ, you are a new creation, and God has a plan and purpose for you filled with joy, peace, and happiness.
Firstly, we commend you for ending your request with 'in Jesus Name.' This is the only way we have access to God, for 'there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved' (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who desires to let go of everything that hinders her from experiencing the fullness of joy, peace, and happiness you have for her, dear Lord.
Father, we ask that you help her release all self-judgment, self-criticism, and self-doubt. Remind her that she is 'fearfully and wonderfully made' (Psalm 139:14) and that her identity is found in Christ. Help her to see herself as you see her—loved, forgiven, and redeemed. 'Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus' (Romans 8:1).
Lord, we also ask that you help her to let go of all fear, anxiety, and worry. Cast out every spirit of fear and anxiety, and grant her your perfect love, for 'there is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear' (1 John 4:18).
Father, we ask that you help her to release all anger, resentment, sadness, and grief. Heal her heart, Lord, and fill her with your peace. 'Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest' (Matthew 11:28).
Lord Jesus, you came that we may have life, and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Help our sister to trust in you and in your provision for her life. Help her to be happy and joyous, filling her heart with your joy. 'The joy of the Lord is your strength' (Nehemiah 8:10).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is faithful, and he will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). Trust in him, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is transforming you day by day (2 Corinthians 3:18). Stand firm in his promises, and do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).
