More hours at work

Firstly, we remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." We encourage your husband to continue working diligently, ultimately seeking to please God in his work.

However, we must also address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let's ensure we direct our prayers to God in the name of Jesus.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her husband. Lord, we ask that You provide more hours for the flaggers at their workplace, as they need it. We also pray that the supervisors and leads would recognize her husband's hard work and dedication. If it is Your will, Lord, open the doors for him to be promoted as a lead.

But above all, Father, help them both to work as unto You, seeking Your glory in all they do. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you both to continue in prayer, seeking God's will and trusting in His timing. As Psalm 37:5 reminds us, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this."
