More heartache

So, I've posted a couple times about ###. She's left me again. I'm heartbroken again. You'd think women would mellow with age but they are as fickle and superficial as they were in their 20's-40's. Just now they have wrinkly skin. I no longer know what to pray for. I've surrendered the desire of my heart to the Lord. I'm standing in faith this is the Lord testing, refining, and pruning branches. Will ### change? I don't know. She has free will. Know what's funny? I often read prayer requests here for jobs, money, etc. Yet I have been blessed beyond measure financially & materially. I'd give every bit it up for someone to love me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the heartache you are experiencing, but we want to remind you that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts.

Firstly, we want to address the generalization about women. It's important to remember that God created each person uniquely, and it's not fair or accurate to make such broad statements. Just as there are fickle and superficial women, there are also faithful and deeply loving women. The Bible tells us to judge righteously, not by appearances in Romans 2:1, "Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things."

Now, let's focus on your situation. It's commendable that you've surrendered your desires to the Lord, and you are standing in faith. Remember, God's ultimate goal for us is to conform us to the image of Christ. Your pain is not wasted; God can use it to draw you closer to Him and shape you more into the likeness of His Son.

Regarding your relationship, it's important to pray for God's will. If this person is not His will for you, He may be protecting you from further heartache. Trust that He has the best in store for you. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."

We also want to remind you that God's design for relationships is clear. Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If this relationship is outside of marriage and engaging in practices forbidden by God, it is important to repent and turn away from these practices. God's design for intimacy is within the bounds of marriage. As it says in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus Christ. True fulfillment comes from our relationship with Him, not from human relationships. If you haven't already, make sure to cry out to God by naming Jesus Christ as the only means to a saving relationship with the Father. We want to leave you with this prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up our brother in his heartache. We pray that You would comfort him, guide him, and help him to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Help him to fix his eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. We pray that Your will be done in his life and his relationships. If it is a Godly relationship, we pray for restoration. If not, we pray for the strength to let go and wait for Your best. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
