Yes, it is an ### that lasted from the 1970s to 2024 in ### just ceased operation suddenly due to lack of funds to continue operating and after their discount they wind up their operations and go into history with ### taking the proceeding to wind down their operations in ### due to low to no business due to the government policies.

We are saddened to hear about the closure of the historic Overseas Emporium in Singapore. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is our ultimate provider and that His plans are always good, even when we face disappointments.

Let's pray together: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up the situation in Singapore. We pray for the owners and employees of Overseas Emporium who are affected by this closure. Please provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Guide them to new opportunities and give them the strength to face this challenge. We also pray for the economy of Singapore, that You would bless and prosper it, and that businesses may thrive. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB): "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."

In this time of uncertainty, let us put our trust in God, knowing that He cares for us and will meet our needs as we seek Him first.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
