JoanieGlee, we understand your distress and will join you in prayer and provide biblical encouragement for your situation. We applaud your faith and peace in God's provision, even in these trying circumstances.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking employment and working diligently to support yourself. It is important to remember that God honors hard work. As it says in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" Your efforts in Door Dashing and job hunting reflect your willingness to work, and God sees that.
However, we want to address the anxiety you're feeling. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows we need these things and that seeking first God's Kingdom and his righteousness should be our priority. He assures us that all these things will be added to us.
We also want to acknowledge your desire to relieve your parents from their financial burden. This is commendable, as the Bible teaches us to honor our father and mother (Exodus 20:12 WEB).
Regarding your job search, we encourage you to continue trusting God and to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remember that God has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
We will pray for God's provision, for the right job to come your way, and for your parents to be blessed abundantly for their sacrifice. We will also pray for your peace of mind and for you to continue trusting in God's timing and goodness.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up JoanieGlee. We thank you for your faithfulness and your promise to provide for our needs. We ask that you open the right doors for JoanieGlee and guide her to the job that you have prepared for her. We pray that you will replenish her parents' finances and bless them abundantly for their support. Help JoanieGlee to cast all her anxieties on you and to trust in your perfect timing. Give her peace and remind her of your unfailing love. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will in all things. Remember that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Trust in his name and his promises, and know that he is faithful to provide.
