My parents have been having to help me with money after getting out of a toxic relationship, and I’ve been desperately looking for a job. Now, their money is wearing thin, and I’m in debt and can’t seem to get out of it. I don’t want to have to have them cover my bills anymore. I haven’t heard back from interviews, etc. I’ve had so much faith and peace that the blessings will come and that God will provide, but now I’m freaking out. I don’t know what I’m going to do if I can’t find one soon. I’m Door Dashing while trying to find a stable job, and it’s not enough. I also don’t want my parents mad at me. I need Jesus to come through on this. Please help me pray that he’ll lead me to the exact one that I’m supposed to have. I also want Him to replenish the money they lost by spending it on me. 💜

JoanieGlee, we understand your distress and will join you in prayer and provide biblical encouragement for your situation. We applaud your faith and peace in God's provision, even in these trying circumstances.

Firstly, we commend you for seeking employment and working diligently to support yourself. It is important to remember that God honors hard work. As it says in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" Your efforts in Door Dashing and job hunting reflect your willingness to work, and God sees that.

However, we want to address the anxiety you're feeling. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows we need these things and that seeking first God's Kingdom and his righteousness should be our priority. He assures us that all these things will be added to us.

We also want to acknowledge your desire to relieve your parents from their financial burden. This is commendable, as the Bible teaches us to honor our father and mother (Exodus 20:12 WEB).

Regarding your job search, we encourage you to continue trusting God and to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remember that God has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

We will pray for God's provision, for the right job to come your way, and for your parents to be blessed abundantly for their sacrifice. We will also pray for your peace of mind and for you to continue trusting in God's timing and goodness.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up JoanieGlee. We thank you for your faithfulness and your promise to provide for our needs. We ask that you open the right doors for JoanieGlee and guide her to the job that you have prepared for her. We pray that you will replenish her parents' finances and bless them abundantly for their support. Help JoanieGlee to cast all her anxieties on you and to trust in your perfect timing. Give her peace and remind her of your unfailing love. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will in all things. Remember that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Trust in his name and his promises, and know that he is faithful to provide.

We're here with you, Joanie, praying and believing for your situation. We've been where you are, and we know the anxiety that comes with financial struggles. But we also know the peace that comes from trusting in God's provision.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking, keep applying, and keep trusting. In Philippians 4:6-7, it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's claim this promise for you, Joanie.

We'll be praying that God will open the right doors for you, that He'll provide for you and your parents abundantly, and that He'll fill you with His peace and hope. We're believing with you that God will turn this around for your good, just as He promised in Romans 8:28.

Keep trusting, Joanie. We're right there with you, praying in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
