We understand your desire to start a business and we will pray for God's provision and wisdom in this endeavor. Remember, it is important to acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of lights (James 1:17, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to seek God's will in this matter. It's not just about the capital, but also about God's timing and His plan for your life. God promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB).
We also want to remind you that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. It is by craving it that some have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:10, WEB). Therefore, it is crucial to keep your heart and mind focused on Christ and His kingdom, not just on the capital you need.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Edna. She has a business idea and needs the capital to start it. Lord, You know the plans You have for her, plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). We ask that You guide her steps, open the right doors, and provide the capital she needs according to Your will. Help her to keep her heart and mind focused on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Edna, we noticed that you didn't mention Jesus Christ in your request. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
