We rejoice with you that you are alive and have returned to fellowship with our Heavenly Father. It is truly by God's grace that you are here today, and we give Him all the praise for your restoration.
Firstly, let us address your past. Being backslidden for over ### years, reminds us "All have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." But we are saved from God's wrath by Jesus Christ. He reconciled us to God and are saved "not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit." For "while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." For your restoration we remember, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost." We have all gone astray, but we are thankful you have come home. We celebrate your testimony and return to God and join with the angels in heaven rejoicing saying, "for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found."
Secondly, we address your prayer. You have asked for prayers for multiple aspects of your life, and we will lift each one up to the Lord in Jesus Name.
Let us pray this way.
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for preserving our brother and drawing him back into a right relationship with You. We first and foremost exalt and praise God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ for saving our brother. By your Grace and the power of your holy spirit he has returned to you and alive in Jesus Christ. We thank you in Jesus name.
Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch on his physical body. "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." We pray for strength and complete recovery from his near death experience. May You also heal any lingering effects on his memory, and emotional and mental health. "And the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not be afraid"
Father, we ask that You guide him in his spiritual journey and provide for his financial needs. He calls on your name, and you have answered. You have commanded that you will be found if we search for you with our whole heart. And you have said ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you. He knocks and asks and we agree with his petition in Jesus name.
Grant him discernment and wisdom to make decisions that honor You. Help him to love You with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love his neighbor as himself. Give him a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit to live for the glory of God and for the purpose to which he was created. We also give thanks to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ.
Lastly, We pray this all in the worthy and precious name of Jesus Christ our lord and savior. For "by Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May You find solace in the Lord as His plans for you are always for welfare, peace, hope and a future. Make sure you are putting God first and diving into His word. Be alert. "But seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you as well." Be certain He will bless you.
