We are truly sorry to hear about your mother's condition and we are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement. First, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. As it says in Psalm 34:18 WEB
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
We also want to point out that physical healing can be asked for but in this case your mom's healing may be an eternal healing and not a physical healing. Your prayer is focused on her comfort and we encourage you to continue with that mindset, however, we will pray for your mother's healing but God's will be done. We will pray for a peace that surpasses all understanding, comfort and love for both you and your mother. This reminds us of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Here is our prayer for you and your mother:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your divine mercy and grace to be upon our dear mother who is in her final days. We pray for your healing power to touch her, whether it be physical or spiritual, according to your will. We ask that you grant her peace, comfort, and a sense of your unfailing love. Help her be calm, not anxious or in pain, until you take her home.
We also pray for her family, that you would fill them with your strength, wisdom, and comfort during this difficult time. Help them to trust in you and to know that you are always with them, even in the darkest of times.
Lord, we ask that you would be glorified in this situation. We pray that our mother would be at rest and peace with you forever in the eternal.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross that we have access to the Father and it is by his name that we can be saved. We encourage you to find comfort in his words and to trust in his promises. We also want to make sure that you understand that eternal salvation and the peace that is being prayed for in your mom's life comes through believing and trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The salvation message is mentioned in John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
