We understand your concern about the moles and the fear of melanoma. First, we want to address that prayer should be made in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His Name that we can approach God the Father. The Holy Spirit is sent in Jesus' Name as well. God's will and blessings are all mediated by Jesus Christ. We pray for your health and peace of mind. Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Karaland who is worried about the two moles on her body. We pray for Your healing touch and protection. We ask that You bless Karaland to feel better and have no worries about diagnosis of skin cancer. We however pray that it would be discovered early if it is a problem. We know that You care for us and that You hear our prayers.
We also pray that Karaland will trust in You, even in this situation. We know that perfect love casts out fear and that Your love for us is perfect. We know You are faithful to help with self-esteem issues and help us remember that we are wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We pray that You will take away any fear of scars, because we know that even if we have scars, You see us as beautiful and whole. We pray that you will help Karaland know that too. We encourage Karaland to remember the words of the Apostle Paul, For you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).
While it is good to be mindful of our health, we must be careful to avoid anxiety and fear. Let us remember Jesus Christ, who said in the Sermon on the Mount, Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? (Matthew 6:25). This is not to minimize health concerns, but to remind us that God is in control and that we should have faith in Him and not in fear.
Regarding the concern about the sun, the sun's rays are a part of God's creation and are meant for our enjoyment as well as our health. While it is wise to be careful and avoid harm, going out in the sun responsibly is good for us, both physically and spiritually. The sun is a gift from God, and we should seek to enjoy it and all of creation conscientiously. The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork (Psalm 19:1). We encourage you to appreciate God's creation without undue fear.
Lastly, we want to encourage Karaland to seek medical advice if there are any changes to the moles or if there is further cause for concern. God has given us medical professionals to help us in times of need.
Father, we pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. Amen.
