Mixed signals about something. We read in the Bible about how unrepentant sinners will face the judgement of God. However, there's a disconnect between what I read and what I see. What I see is that days, weeks, months, and years later those (continually) doing wrong are still flitting around, free as a bird. Making it look like there IS no judgement with God. Confused... Either God is against these sins or He's not.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ### who is struggling with confusion and mixed signals about Your judgment and justice. Lord, Your Word tells us in Romans 2:5 that "because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when His righteous judgment will be revealed." Yet, ### sees those who continually do wrong seemingly living without consequence, and it brings confusion to his heart.

Father, we ask for clarity and understanding for ###. Help him to trust in Your perfect timing and justice, as Your Word also says in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." May ### find peace in knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts.

Lord, strengthen ###'s faith and help him to rest in the assurance that You are a just and righteous God. Remind him that Your patience is an expression of Your mercy, giving everyone a chance to turn from their sins and come to You. We pray that ### will continue to seek You and find comfort in Your Word, knowing that in due time, Your righteous judgment will prevail.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
