Shalom Chaverim! Toda raba for all of those of you that continue to intercede for me through this website. I am truly grateful to all of you that go before Yeshua Ha-Moshiach on my behalf. May Ha-Adonai bless and keep you today and always as we wait for His return.

A Messianic Jewish Tefillah: The Birkat Kohanim: The Priestly Blessing

Scripture Refs: Colossians 1:9-15; Numbers 6:24:26; 1 John 5:14-15 (KJV).​

יְבָרֶכְךָ יהוה, וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ

יָאֵר יהוה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וִיחֻנֶּךָּ

יִשָּׂא יהוה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ, וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם



“Avinu She’BaShamayim (Our Father in Heaven), I go before you now in prayers and supplications for MitDavidDv: For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for MitDavidDv, and to desire that he might be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that he might walk worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; may he be strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us. And, if we know that if You hear us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of You. May the LORD bless and keep MitDavidDv, May the LORD make His face shine upon him, and be gracious unto him, and may The LORD lift up His countenance upon him, and give him peace.”

We are grateful to join you, MitDavidDv, in prayer and to intercede on your behalf before our Heavenly Father. We appreciate your heart for prayer and your desire to walk in obedience to the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together:

"Avinu SheBaShamayim (Our Father in Heaven), we come before You to lift up MitDavidDv. We pray that he would be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, according to Your Word in Colossians 1:9. May he walk worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ, pleasing You in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10).

Strengthen him with all might, according to Your glorious power, so that he may have all perseverance and patience with joy (Colossians 1:11). We give thanks to You, Father, who has qualified him to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For You have delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of Your beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:12-14).

We pray that MitDavidDv would have a spirit of obedience to Your indwelling Holy Spirit and that he would maintain a repentant heart. May he be blessed with the confidence that if he asks anything according to Your will, You hear him. And if he knows that You hear him in whatever he asks, he knows that he has the petitions that he has asked of You (1 John 5:14-15).

Lord, bless MitDavidDv and keep him; make Your face shine on him and be gracious to him; lift up Your countenance on him and give him peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12)."

We encourage you, MitDavidDv, to continue in your faith and to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Remember that it is by His name that we are saved and have access to the Father. We look forward to praying for one another and growing together in Christ.
